Colors to match your needs
Color is a tricky thing. Each person sees the pigments in complex colors differently and many have a hard time imagining them on interior or exterior walls of their homes. We here at Paint Kings have many tools and skills at your disposal to make color easy for your house painting project.
Our color consultants have multiple approaches for getting your home just the way you want it. The goal is to let you see what your house will look like before we ever start painting. This will give you the confidence that you are making a great decision. Some approaches we use are digital imaging, color boards and eventually paint samples. Using computers you can narrow down thousands of colors to a few schemes in less than an hour. Taking a picture of your home and superimposing colors on the various architectural features gives you the ability to compare and contrast ideas with minimal effort. Not sure that color works with your carpet, cabinets or drapes? Now you can see it on the screen to help you visualize it. Then next step is to bring the color into the home so that you can see it first hand and with different lighting through out the day. There are two methods for bringing in the colors. One is to create color boards, aka draw downs, and the next is to bring in paint samples. For either of these services a paint manufacturing company would charge you up to $10 per color. As a Paint Kings customer those are all included. Putting the colors on the wall will let you see if they appear lighter or darker due to different lighting conditions. Once the color is selected and you feel confident we can move forward with your house painting project.
If you already know what color you need but not sure the name or have a general idea what you need the house to look like, we can use our vast experience to make recommendations. I feel like the hardest part about painting is just finding the right colors. I’m always scared that the colors are going to look way too bright or dark once I do the entire wall. I’m a pretty bold person though so I don’t think it would bug me too much if it did.

My wife and I have very opposite tastes in colors for homes. She prefers very neutral grays, whites and browns. I prefer brighter colors like reds and blues. Most likely we’ll end up painting the house white this summer. This article was very informative, and we may be coming back to read this again soon. https://ccspainting.com
Color is a really tricky thing. We need to have our home painted and I have no idea what color we should use. It is great that you guys have color consultants to help meet my color needs.
I have the hardest time with color. There are so many colors that would go well on my home. I honestly have the hardest time because I am usually the only one who decides on the color of everything. I am hoping I can get the opinion of the painters that will come in. They should have some experience with different colors because they paint all the time.
